Support

Funded by residents. Accountable to residents.

Our Oakville is a grassroots, resident-funded effort led by one Oakville resident — Celina Close. It grew out of years of local advocacy: attending meetings, reading the reports, asking the follow-up questions, and helping neighbours understand who actually holds the power. Today it is run on donated time and small contributions from residents, expanding only as the issues and workload demand. No developer, corporate or party money. Just Oakville residents who want their town to stay accountable long after election day.

One-time or monthly — you set the amount

There's no suggested tier and no minimum. Some neighbours chip in the cost of a coffee each month; others make a single lump-sum contribution before a big meeting. Both keep the lights on.
